Dean Homicki | Creative director and GM of MICKIMEDIA

Dean Homicki is a business builder and the GM of Dean Homicki P/L, a full-service product development, branding and communication agency servicing B2B and B2C business.

Founding the game-changing architectural safety products company dtac.com.au in the late 1990s, Dean conceived and created an entire industry of disability and anti-slip products from the humble beginning in his childhood shed in Upwey, Victoria, Australia.

Over the next 12 years, to scale it, Dean designed and implemented integrated business and training systems, developing a world-first cradle-to-cradle recycling programme to make it all sustainable. 

Before Dean’s achievements within the architectural construction industry, he created jewellery and fashion ranges for major department store and independent retail chains, homewares and domestic living products.

Dean's other design and manufacturing businesses have engineered mechanical systems including modular sound partitioning, signage, furniture and lighting for the healthcare and hospitality industries. He has spent over a decade working internationally with specific experience in the manufacturing and distribution of construction goods from China.
